GDS भर्ती की सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि इसके लिए केवल 10th pass रखी गई है। Candidate ने किसी recognized board से Secondary School Examination यानी Class 10 पास किया होना चाहिए।10th में Mathematics और English subjects होना जरूरी है। इसके अलावा candidate को संबंधित postal circle की local language कम से कम 10th standard तक पढ़ी हुई होनी चाहिए।
